How We Localize Sound
Hunters and animals have two ears, enabling the brain to decode sound location using timing, volume, and frequency differences. Sounds from the left hit the left ear milliseconds before the right, are louder in the left ear, and have more frequencies. TETRA's AmpPod technology maximizes these hearing clues in both ears.
