Very easy! Online applications only require basic information and you can receive an approval in seconds.

How do I apply?

You may apply for financing anytime prior to checking out. On each product page throughout the website, you will see something like this: Starting at $100/mo with Affirm. Prequalify now.

Click on the link “Prequalify now” and it will take you directly to the Affirm application. Once the easy application is completed, you will immediately get notification of the application status.

What information is needed to apply?

Affirm gives you a real time decision with only five pieces of info: Name/ birthday/ social security number/ address/ income.

How does 90 day interest free financing work?

It’s simple. Pay off your principal within the 90-day promotional period and you pay no interest. Keep in mind, you must make your regular monthly payments on time because if you miss a payment or are late, you no longer qualify for the promotion.

What is the interest rate if not interest free?

Your interest rate and/or annual percentage rate (APR) may be different depending on your creditworthiness and the price of your purchase. The exact terms that apply to your purchase will be given when you check out with Affirm.

Am I locked into financing for the full term?

Not at all. You can pay off your balance at any time and there are never any prepayment penalties!

Is there a limit to how much credit will be approved?

Nope, there’s no limit. But if you’ve recently opened other credit accounts, that will be considered and will impact your application.

How often are payments made?

Payments are required at minimum once a month on your scheduled due date.

When will my purchase be shipped to me?

If you purchase TETRA with Affirm financing, your purchase will ship in the same priority and order as all other customers.

How much do I have to pay today?

Once approved for Affirm Financing, you do not need to pay anything to TETRA for your purchase today. Your first payment to Affirm will be in 30 days.

What if I need to return my purchase?

If you need to make a return, please contact TETRA customer service at 855-HEAR-HNT (855-432-7468) or email info@tetrahearing.com and we will work directly with you to facilitate a return.

If I am approved, how long is my approval?

Approvals are good for 7 days.

What if I am having trouble with my application?

If you have any questions about your financing or need assistance, please contact Affirm directly at affirm.com.

Am I able to finance a purchase if using a discount code or special promotion?

Only purchases at full MSRP qualify for financing. Discounts and promotions disqualify the purchaser from the finance option.

What happens if I make a late payment?

If you’re going to be late on a payment, please sign in to your Affirm account today and schedule a payment as soon as possible.

Affirm does not charge late fees. Even so, partial payments or late payments may hurt your credit score or your chances of getting another loan.

After you schedule a payment, Affirm will continue sending reminders by email and text message until any remaining balance is settled, but you won’t receive calls about your loan.

How do I cancel an order that hasn’t been shipped yet?

If you need to cancel your TETRA order, please contact TETRA customer service at 855 - HEAR - HNT (855-432-7468) or email info@tetrahearing.com and we will work directly with you to facilitate cancelling your order.

If your purchase is already finalized with Affirm, you’ll get a full refund, which typically takes about 21 days.

I’m on active military duty. Can I get a 6% interest rate cap?

Affirm is proud to offer an interest rate cap of 6% under the Service Members Civil Relief Act (SCRA) while you're on active duty. SCRA benefits are available for loans taken out before entering active duty service. Contact Affirm directly to inquire about this option if you are active military duty (affirm.com).

How does Affirm protect my personal information?

Data security: When you share your personal information, it’s transferred with TLS, a cryptographic protocol, then stored with AES 128-bit or higher encryption at rest.

Restricted access: Affirm stores encryption keys at an off-site facility. Access to your data requires multi-factor authentication and is restricted to authorized personnel performing specific tasks at your request.
